Position Overview
As a Healthcare Operations & Compliance Advisor at CMS1 Partners, you will drive operational excellence and regulatory compliance across our client portfolio. Leveraging Six Sigma / DMAIC methodologies, you will identify inefficiencies, design corrective processes, and deliver sustainable improvements that reduce cost, improve throughput, and protect organizations from compliance exposure.
This is an ideal role for a healthcare professional with a process improvement background who thrives in fast-paced consulting environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct operational assessments using DMAIC and Lean frameworks to identify waste and process gaps
- Design and implement workflow improvements across clinical operations, billing, and administrative functions
- Advise clients on CMS, HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback, and False Claims Act compliance requirements
- Support readiness for CMS audits, RAC reviews, and pre-payment reviews
- Develop KPI dashboards and performance monitoring frameworks
- Train client teams on process improvement tools and compliance protocols
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and rapid improvement events (Kaizen)
- Document policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4+ years of healthcare operations consulting or compliance advisory experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt strongly preferred
- Solid grounding in CMS and federal healthcare regulatory environment
- Experience with process mapping, root cause analysis, and change management
- Knowledge of EHR and practice management system workflows
- PMP or CPHQ certification a plus
- Bachelor's degree required; MHA, MBA, or healthcare compliance certification preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary $80,000 – $92,000
